OUR GARDEN DESIGN TEAM ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES:
Garden Design principle number 1. ‘Classic with a twist’ will always be, our design ethos. Trends are often wasteful and date over time. Gardens should soften a property into the landscape and mature like a fine wine.
Garden Design principle number 2. Each garden should tell a story, exude joy, stir emotions, heighten senses, they’re a place in which memories are made, they should enhance our well-being and promote relaxation. Our gardens provide a physical, visual and emotional journey, we divide each garden into zones by creating a ‘sense of place and belonging’.
Garden Design principle number 3. Consideration is paid to all members of the family including pets and guests. Each garden design encourages play and enjoyment. Whilst gardens need to be a thing of beauty, they also need include human interaction, we encourage the user to walk around and pick ingredients whether that be for a meal or cocktail. Growing your own fruit, vegetables and herbs couldn’t be more wholesome or good for the soul. Everywhere you look there must be something of interest and beauty no matter what the season.
Garden Design principle number 4. We’re an eco-friendly garden design team. Always striving to source locally produced stock and materials, recycled materials, upcycled materials, we purchase most of our stock in the root-ball season, procure through sustainable suppliers, repurpose where possible, work with the environment opposed to changing it, implement rainwater harvesting and night watering irrigation systems, reduce the number of chemicals needed to maintain our designs and dedicate specific areas to attract and safeguard both insects and wildlife.
Garden Design principle number 5. Garden Design should respond to the architectural vernacular of each property and geographical cues and the individual culture, lifestyle and taste of each client. We meticulously design every element of a project, bespoke details ensure each garden is just as practical as it is beautiful. The link between internal and external spaces has never been more important, the outside should reflect the inside and vice versa.

OUR INTERIOR DESIGN TEAM ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES:
Interior Design principle number 1. Interiors much like our gardens, follow the ‘Classic with a twist’ ethos. We draw on great architecture and design principles, for the foundation of each scheme. Details are key, form and function must work side by side, each space is designed to make life easier, ultimately, we want the user to feel comfortable and at home.
Interior Design principle number 2. We create interiors that stand the test of time and combine, sophistication with practicality. We like to have fun with our clients, introducing design elements that provoke conversations and dinner party chat. Consideration is paid to all members of the family including pets and guests. Everyone has a favourite boutique hotel, incorporating details taken from these retreats into the home adds an extra layer to the enjoyment of a scheme.
Interior Design principle number 3. By offering a highly personalized and bespoke service, we hope to encapsulate our clients dreams and aspirations. The success of an interior lies with the attention to detail. Budget, brief and timescale play a huge part in any Interior Design project. Property is an investment, we advise the client where to invest and when to scale back.
Interior Design principle number 4. Sustainability is key, we design interiors which remain timeless and have a positive impact on our carbon footprint. Restoring properties to meet better EPC standards is part of our design process. By sourcing local materials and trades, this lowers carbon emission. We avoid trends and include an eclectic mix of antiques and salvage pieces.
Interior Design principle number 5. As mentioned in the Garden Design section, the transition between inside and outside must flow. We want to entice the user, to enjoy all aspects of the home, repetition of materials subconsciously moves the user from one area to another. Views from windows, doors, various aspects and vistas, all play an important part in the design process.
